Dr Joël Moroz has spent his entire life in the health/fitness/sports industries. He graduated from Brock University with an Honours degree in Kinesiology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went over the river to complete his Doctoral degree of Chiropractic at D'Youville College in Buffalo. Being an avid athlete himself, it was a simple transition to a healthcare field that commonly treats amateur and professional athletes.
Dr Joël grew up with a love for athletics in a wide variety of sports. Having a special knack for athletics, he represented his elementary and high school in as many events as he could. He did high jump, long jump, 4 x 100m, 200m, cross country, volleyball, coed Tennis, hockey, football (kicker, defensive back, wide receiver, kick return), and Soccer (OFSAA Bronze medalist). Aside from school teams, he played AAA hockey against current and former NHLers, captained the AA team, won back to back All Ontario Championships and numerous Tournament/season/playoff Championships. In Soccer, he played in the former Canadian Professional Soccer League, taught numerous soccer camps locally, and had a strong passion for the sport. Although his athletic days are winding down, he has switched his focus and attention on helping other athletes reach their goals. Having spent countless hours training with moderate and high intensity, he has a very good understanding of the training required and common injuries experienced in sports and how to recover from them as well as what is required to set yourself apart from the rest of the pack.
He is well known for being a cerebral player, dissemenating or breaking down sections of a sport or skill into simple calculations and angles for athletes of any age to understand.
We've all heard the old saying "sports are 90% mental and 10% physical. This suggests that skill and talent only makes up 10% of a sport. Dr Joël takes it one step further to suggest that 10% of sport is played using your physical eyes, and 90% using your 'third eye'.
"If you can detect emerging patterns ahead of time and make calculations as to what will happen, where it happens, how fast it happens, or what the remaining options are, you will more often than not, be in the right place at the righ time, regardless of skill/talent".
If you have decent skill ontop of all that, your success will appear effortless as so many of the greats make it seem.
